# Find your way around

> The left rail, top bar, account menu, Settings, and Support.

BayBoard has one main screen, the schedule board. Everything else is a short trip from the left rail or the top bar.

## Left rail

The rail on the left holds the main places in BayBoard.

* **Schedule** opens the board.
* **Reports** opens Today, Scoreboard, or My hours, depending on your role.
* **Settings** and **Support** are pinned at the bottom.

Use the collapse and expand buttons to shrink the rail to icons or bring it back. You can also jump with the keyboard: press G then S for Schedule, G then R for Reports, G then , (comma) for Settings, and G then H for Support. Press the second key within one second.

## Top bar

On the schedule, the top bar has three parts.

* The notifications bell shows your in-app alerts. See [Notifications](/getting-started/notifications).
* Search finds jobs, customers, vehicles, and VINs. Click it or press Ctrl+K on Windows, Cmd+K on Mac. See [Search](/schedule-board/search).
* Board actions, **Auto Schedule**, Carry Forward, and Reset Day, appear for Owner / Admin, General Manager, and Service Advisor.

The top bar also holds day navigation. Use the chevrons to move to the previous or next open day, click the date to pick a day from the calendar, or click **Today**. Closed days are skipped. See [Schedule board](/schedule-board) for the full board layout.

## Account menu

The account button at the bottom of the rail shows your name and role. Click it for **My Profile**, **Keyboard shortcuts**, **Help & Support**, and **Sign Out**.

## Settings

Settings opens as a dialog over the schedule. The sections run down the left side. Which sections you see depends on your role. Close it with the X in the corner.

If you leave a section with unsaved changes, BayBoard asks "Discard unsaved changes?". Click **Keep Editing** to go back or **Discard Changes** to drop them.

## Support

Support holds Documentation, What's New, Shortcuts, Contact Support, and System Status. Open it from the rail, press Ctrl+/ (Cmd+/ on Mac), or press G then H. Press ? anywhere to see the keyboard shortcut list.

## Focus mode

Press Ctrl+B (Cmd+B on Mac) to collapse the rail, the Shop Performance strip, and the Unassigned panel all at once. Press it again to bring them back. BayBoard remembers this setting in your browser.
