Notifications - BayBoard

Settings > Notifications controls your own in-app alerts. Every role has this section. Each toggle saves as soon as you change it. There is no Save button. Alerts show under the bell icon in the top bar.

In-app alerts

Alert	When it fires	Who sees it
Promised time at risk	Time remaining before the promised time is under the remaining hours plus 1 hour. Fixed rule, no guesswork.	All roles
Promised time approaching	60 minutes remain before a promised time.	All roles
Waiting customer not started	A waiting customer’s job has not started.	All roles except Technician
Jobs carried forward	Jobs were moved to a later day by Carry Forward.	All roles
End-of-day wrap	A summary at the end of the day. The scope is Your day, The floor, or The shop, based on your role.	All roles
Same-day time-off bump	A job was moved to Unassigned by time off added for today.	All roles
Job assigned to you	A job was placed on your column.	Foreman and Technician

Send a test

Click Send A Test to create one notification for yourself. It does not notify anyone else. You see “Test notification sent.” and the alert appears under the bell.
